Outside Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's offices protesters from the village of Kuta protest dams and other hydropower projects on the Vjosa River that will flood their fields, destroying not only their livelihoods, but also the Vjosa river system, the last undammed river system in Europe. The Vjosa River in Albania is the last large free flowing river system in Europe. The search for more energy, through hydroelectric dams threatens this natural resource.
