Igor Kolomia, an alpinist, takes a rest while climbing up to the top of the internal area of the arch. They are paid as much as other construction workers, but work at great heights. The inner area of the arch will be seal, then it will be negatively pressurized so that if there is a leak in the skin, no radioactive dust or debris will escape. The giant space inside the arch, built like a giant aircraft hangar, will then have humidity regulated at 40 percent, to ensure that the steel does not rust, since workers will not be able to paint or maintain the structure - ensuring structural integrity - because radiation will be too great. The structure is meant to stand for a century, but will not block radiation, only radioactive particles as Unit 4 and the sarcophagus are deconstructed.
